Angela's nappies

Lollipop nappy rep

Types of nappies

 Two part Systems.

These nappies need two parts, the soft nappy and a seperate waterproof wrap. (No more crinckly pants.). They normally come in two or three sizes. The advantage of these nappies is that  haveing seperate sizes means you can have a good fitting nappy. They come in Bamboo, Mocrofibre, and cotton. The disadvantage is you will need to buy different sizes as the child grows. The wraps do not need changeing after every nappy change.

 Pocket nappies.

Unlike the above system these do not need a seperate water proof wrap. They have an inner pocket which contains the absorbant pad, and the outer is waterproof. These are good for quick changes. They can easily be boosted up and you do not need to worry of leaks due to ill-fitting wraps.

Onelife Birth to Toddler NappyBirth to Potty

These nappies last from birth to when the child is toilet trained. So the advantage is you only need one size. The above example needs a seperate wrap but birth to potty pocket nappies are also available. The initial outlay is more then buying a sized nappy set and they can seem large on a new born. However in the long term these may work out cheeper. The above example is available in sets.

Lollipop Flat Nappies 12 PackTerry Squares

Gone are the pins and crinkly pants and in are nappy nippas, clips wich hold tha nappy together, and in are wraps with poppers and velcro. The Terry square can be folded in many ways and is another birth to potty nappy. It is available in standard size and a newborn size.  These are a quick drying nappy and a good budget option. they are also available tin Bamboo. Which is more absorbant material.

Pre folds.

These are are a folded pad which is fitted into a water proof wrap. Unlike the above it does not require folding around the baby. Again they come in two sizes and do not require pins or clasps.
