Welcome to my made-up WAHM nappy website!

I have created this site as a demonstration. I don't actually sell anything- I wish I was talented enough to make my own wraps and nappies. I have bought some beautiful WAHM creations myself, and wanted to offer a place for others to show off their nappy making skills!

Hopefully this will give you an idea of the sort of site that you could easily make. You can simply have a home page, which links to your existing website, or have an on-line shop. It's totally up to you. All pages within your site are highly optimised for good search engine listings and accessible to all browers and users. I would describe myself as reasonably IT literate. I can use word and send emails, but I am certainly not an expert. When the computer does things I don't want it to do (anyone else have moments like that?!) I call for my DH. He, fortunately, is a website designer and all-round computer whizz. Basically, if I can make a website here, so can you!

We have decided to keep the shop section and cart as simple as possible. There are no on-line payments as such, but rather orders are emailed to you. This gives you the flexibility to sort out payment methods yourself, or offer discounts on postage and packaging, for example. As many items on the site are hand-made, there is a “notes” box at the checkout that gives buyers the chance to add comments e.g.- I have ordered the small nappy, but would like it in a different colour. Because of this, stock levels are managed by you and aren't automatic. When an item has been bought, you can easily change the number available on your site. You also have the option of selecting a “made to order” button, rather than specifying numbers.

If you decide that you would like a nappysite WAHM shop, that's great. It's free for the first year, so you have plenty of time to "try-before-you-buy". You will not be pressurised into paying after the year is up, so you could just see this as a year's free advertising! If you do decide to keep your site, the price will be £30 per year. We will send an email when your free year is nearly up, just to check what you would like to do.
